CAU Christopher Caughey_600x800The purpose of this course is to acquaint the student with the philosophical and religious history of late Medieval and Reformation Europe. As foundation, students will become conversant with soteriological and epistemological views of the time as well as societal and political concerns and events. The contributions of Martin Luther will receive prominent attention. Other outstanding Reformers will also be studied, viz. Zwingli, Grebel, and Calvin.
