O105 Pentateuch -- Dr. Jeffrey Pulse

First Class 28 January

(Prerequisite:  E102 Hermeneutics)

The Pentateuch witnesses today as one of the great works of literature to and for humankind. As an inspired Word of God, the Five Books of Moses is an important text written for our “teaching, reproof, correction and training in righteousness.” As such, it both opens and grounds the Sacred Writings and Doctrines of the Old and New Testaments. This course will nurture a fundamental passion and appreciation for the Word of God as recorded in the Pentateuch, supporting, encouraging and preparing “servants of the Word” to communicate this Teaching of the LORD within the context and mission of a Lutheran congregation.
