Curtis_Leins_600x800This course presents the major trends, personalities, and events influencing the life of the church during the first five centuries. Primary emphasis is upon institutions, cultures, and doctrine. Use of primary sources in translation. The goal is for the student to understand the development of the early Christian Church, including doctrine, movements, and relationships among the key people from the New Testament era to AD 600.
