“Always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect” (1 Peter 3:15 ESV). Even in today’s anti-Christian culture, Peter’s words still ring true. Apologetics have long played an important role in explaining and defending Christian truth. Each new generation of believers are told to give an explanation for the hope they have in Christ. Through the ages, Christ's followers have prepared themselves for such a task. The study of apologetics shows how to grapple with the relationship between faith and facts and will build your confidence in sharing your faith with others.
